A pincode-first neighbourhood app for India. See everything within 10 km, and talk to neighbours who are GPS-verified.
PadosXO is a pincode-first neighbourhood app for India. You register your pincode, see posts, alerts, listings and local businesses within 10 km, and connect with GPS-verified neighbours. This mobile application is completely free on Android and live (piliot) across Delhi, Gurugram and Noida.
Not a timeline. A neighbourhood.
Everything on the feed happened inside your 10 km radius. Newest first, no algorithm, nothing from a city you don't live in - just your own few kilometres.
Solid wood study table, 3 years old, barely used since WFH ended. ₹1,500 or best offer. Pickup this weekend.
New to the area. Which paediatrician do people here actually trust? Prefer someone who doesn't rush appointments.
Colony garage sale this Sunday, 9am at the community lawn. 22 households in so far. Bring what you don't need, leave with what you do.
You live surrounded by people you cannot reach.
Thousand people live within a five-minute walk of your door. They know which plumber turns up, why the water went off, who to call at 2am. None of it reaches you - the WhatsApp group is 900 unread forwards, the notice board a photo of a photo. So you search the internet for an answer that was two floors below you the whole time.~ We're building it.
Pincode in, neighbourhood out.
No society sign-up. No RWA approval. No waiting for your building to adopt an app. You register your own pincode and you're in.
Register your home pincode
That pincode becomes your anchor. Add a work pincode too and switch between the two neighbourhoods you actually live in.
Become a Verified Local
If GPS confirms you're in your registered area on 7 of any 14 days, the badge appears on its own. No forms.
Talk, once both sides agree
Chat is request-and-accept. Nobody can message you until you say yes, and your phone number is never shown.
One app for everything Indian neighbourhood is already doing.
Eight kinds of post - each replaces something people already do badly over WhatsApp, or don't do at all because there's nowhere to do it.
Raise an alert
Water cut, a lift stuck, something that doesn't look right at the gate. Reaches verified residents within 10 km immediately.
Ask the community
"Anyone got a plumber who actually shows up?" The person who does is usually a two-minute walk away.
Buy and sell nearby
A study table, a cycle, a fridge. No courier, no deposit, no meeting a stranger off the internet at a metro station.
Post what you need
A cook for weekday dinners, a maths tutor, a carpenter for one afternoon. The right local person finds you.
Recommend someone good
The tailor who gets it right first time. The electrician worth waiting for. Recommendations from people who live where you live.
Find what's on
Society meetings, Sunday football, Diwali mela, a building committee vote. Things you'd otherwise hear about the day after.
What neighbours are actually using it for.
“Posted about a gas leak smell at 11pm. Three neighbours replied in ten minutes, one knew exactly whom to call. That's when I got it.”

“Sold my daughter's cycle in four hours, to a family two towers away. No courier, no bargaining with strangers on the phone.”

“New to Noida, knew nobody. Asked for a tiffin service recommendation and got nine replies. I've met four neighbours since.”

Delhi NCR, pincode by pincode.
Deliberately deep rather than wide - three cities, dense enough in each area that the feed is worth opening. Pick yours.

Is your pincode live yet?
PadosXO opens area by area, not city by city, so the feed is useful from day one. Type your pincode to check yours.

A neighbourhood app in India, built around the pincode, not the gate.
Most local mobile apps in hyperlocal space are society-management software - visitor entry, gate passes, maintenance bills - and only work once your management committee signs up. PadosXO neighbourhood platform starts from your pincode instead. Register it and you're connected to people, businesses, and services nearby you within 10 km: the colony across the road, the shopkeeper of twenty years, the tutor in the next block. No RWA, no committee vote, no gate required.
Built by NearGrid Technologies, free on Android, live across 135 pincodes in Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida. What it isn't: a dating app, a citywide social network, or a place where anonymous accounts can raise a safety alert.
Everything people ask before they install.
What is PadosXO?
PadosXO is a neighbourhood app for India. Currently pilot across Delhi NCR (Delhi, Gurgaon, & Noida). You register your home pincode, see posts, alerts, marketplace listings, events and local businesses, and connect with neighbours whose location has been GPS-verified. Unlike society-management apps, it does not require your RWA or management committee to sign up first - you register yourself, and you're in from that moment.
Is PadosXO free?
Yes. PadosXO app is free to download and free to use for residents, with no subscription, no trial period and no paywalled features. Local businesses and service providers can also create a page at no cost. There is nothing to cancel and no card details are collected at sign-up.
Which cities is PadosXO available in?
PadosXO is live across Delhi NCR - Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida - covering 135 pincodes. New areas open weekly. Coverage is deliberately deep rather than national: an area only goes live once there are enough verified residents in it for the feed to be genuinely useful on day one.
How does PadosXO know someone actually lives nearby?
Through GPS verification. If your device is detected inside your registered pincode area on specific days, you're automatically awarded the Verified Local badge - no forms, no documents, no waiting for approval. ID verification is available separately and adds a second badge. Only Verified Locals can post safety alerts; business and service pages cannot post alerts at all.
How is PadosXO different from MyGate or NoBrokerHood?
MyGate, NoBrokerHood, ApnaComplex and ADDA are society-management software: visitor entry, gate passes, maintenance payments, staff attendance. They work inside one gated society and only after the management committee adopts them. PadosXO neighbourhood app connects a whole pincode radius regardless of whether you live in a gated society, a builder floor, a plotted colony or a DDA block. We have no gate module and no maintenance billing - that's a different product, not a missing feature.
Is there a Nextdoor in India?
No. Nextdoor does not operate in India and has never launched here. But PadosXO neighbourhood platform is the Indian replica of Nextdoor.
Will my phone number be visible to neighbours?
No. Your phone number is never displayed on your profile or in any post, and it is not shared with other users, businesses or service providers. Conversations happen through in-app chat, and chat is request-and-accept - another person cannot message you until you have accepted their request.
Do I need to live in a gated society to use PadosXO?
No. PadosXO neighbourhood app in India works from your pincode, not from your building, so it is equally usable if you live in a plotted colony, a builder floor, a DDA or DLF block, a rented flat or a gated condominium. You don't need an RWA, a management committee or anyone else's permission - you register your own pincode and you're in.
